Roles in media for Males
In media man are all was seen as the big guy that always does the hard work. Thats because males are naturally stronger so they are seen as better. So males are always put into hard roles that require them to think and be strong. But now today they are starting to be seen in lesser roles such as staying at home with the kids or having a woman boss at work. We now live in a world that isnt as gender bias.

In the media there are many ways that females are seen. One of the biggest ones is the stay at home mom, or the secretary for a big coprate office. These have all ways been seen as womans work. Thats because they are weakier jobs that would fit for women. But now today it has started to change, you now see women running big companies and no longer staying at home. Thats because peoples ideas have changed about these things.

The first big story was about the death of the communist leader of North Korea. This just happened yesterday, the death of Kim Jong Il has caused alot of people to become happy over it. Now many beleave that his son will take over.
The second big story was about a flood that took place in the Philippines. It has caused a death toll of about 1,000 people total. But there could be more found with in the next few days. About 400 coffins were already shipped out for the bodies.
The third big story was about a large group of people who are living in a huge refuge camp. There is about 450,000 people that live in one in Kenya in the Dadaab. All of these people have moved from Somali to be safe and taken care of.

Top 3 Stories 12/15
The first story was about a reporter who went and stayed with a group of Taliban militist. The tried to evade towns or roads so they wouldnt get caught. It allowed the reporter to see first hand wht these people experiance.
The second story was about the U.S. census data that has been released. It shows that over half of the U.S. is either low income or poor.It shows that the middle class is shrinking and now the lower class is expanding.
The third big story of the day was about a double homicide that took place in Massachusetts in a million dollar home. It was a couple that owned the house. It is still unknown why these people were killed or who took part in the murder.

Top 3 Stories 12/14
The first story was about the 100th anniversery of people that reached the south pole. People from Norway went and gathered to celebrate this day and pay respect to Roald Amundsen who was the first man to reach the south pole.
The second story was about Amazon using a big brother system to track people. This way they can see what people like and that way they can send adds to people to try and get them to buy products. Some people dont like this because they think this system will be used to watch them.
The third big story of the day was about the ex-coach for Penn State saying that the charges are ludicrous. But he does have 50 charges against him, which is causing many people to think lesser of him. He might also have to move his case to trial soon.

The first story was about two helicopters that crashed in Washington. The helicopters were army helicopters that were reconnaissance copters. When they crashed it killed four people. It is still unknown why they crashed.
The second story was about the crackdown in Syria. It was on a uprising that has been happening for about nine-months now. The U.N. has reported that over 5,000 people have died from this crackdown on the people.
The third big story of the day was about a pile up that happened in L.A. It caused a huge traffic jam in the city. About a dozen semi's were involved in this pile up on the freeway.

The first story was about a interveiw with the president. Obama talked about the problems with economy that is holding back the U.S. He then talked about congress and the things that need to be solved by congress.
The second story was about Mexico and the war for drugs. In the past few months there has been many people caught trying to bring drugs from Mexico to the U.S. There has also been many people killed over these drugs.
The last big story of the day was about Al Qaeda militants that escaped from a Yeman prison. They tunneled out of the prison, which is the second time this has happened this year. Atleast 10 people escaped from a 130 feet long tunnel.

The first top story was about officials that were warning people to not eat raw cookie dough. This is because it has been know for people to contract E. coli. About 77 people have gotten it this year from eating raw cookie dough.
The second big story was about Russian police sanctioning a rally for protesters. This was decided after a violent protest earlier this week. The protest is over parliamentary elections that are going on in Russia right now.
The third big story was about a girl that was shot by a mother in Texas. This was because the mother was denied foodstamps so she held the office up. In the end she killed her self and daughter and injured her son bad.

The first top story was about Pearl Habor day. Today is the 70th anniversery of the bombing that got the U.S. into World War II. Today people gathered to remeber this event and honor those who died that day or have passed after the event.
The second big story was about how many troops that are in Iraq right now. There is only about 8,000 troops left from the U.S. armed forces.There was around 170,000 troops about four years ago.
The third big story was about a new Cold War starting. Yet again oil is at the center point of this new war. Now it is between the U.S. and China. This is because of all the problems in the middle east.

Top 3 Stories 11/5
The first big story of the day was about a sheriff in Texas that had botched alot of cases. There was as many as 400 cases that could have been covered etter by the police. But sheriff failed to follow through with this.
The second story was about how Gingrich is going to be the man who restores America back to what it was. He has been climbing to the top for the past few months. An now he is at the top of the polls with 25%.
The third final story for today was about Europe and how the stock market is now on a rise again. Many are hoping that Europe will help boost the stocks even more. If things go good, there could be alot of money made by investors.

The first top story was about Pakistan might no longer help the U.S. on their fight for anti-terrorism. This is because of the air strike that was launched by NATO on Pakistan. The only way Pakistan will continue its help is if the U.S. lets up on Pakistan.
The second big story of the day was about the possible lost of the penny in the U.S. currency. Thats because not many people use them and there is 4 million pennies produced every year. Many belive this is a waste of money, thats because not many people use them.
